Abena’s Silicone Foam Dressing with Adhesive Border features a soft silicone protective backing layer, super absorbent fiber and absorbent foam, and a silicone adhesive border. The protective backing is a highly breathable top layer that conforms to the skin while providing barrier protection from water and bacteria. The absorbent fiber and foam has exceptional absorption capability and manages high levels of exudate which helps prevent maceration. The silicone adhesive border distributes wound exudate fast and evenly, which helps minimize pain and the risk of damage to the wound area during removal. This triple-layer construction facilitates dynamic fluid management to provide the optimal moist wound environment, which helps promote faster wound closure. The dressing is comfortable, conformable, and can be cut to fit.
