Abena’s Foam Dressing features a soft protective backing layer and an absorbent foam layer. The protective backing is made of polyurethane film and acts as a bacteria barrier while allowing an optimal Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate. The absorbent foam manages high levels of exudate which helps prevent maceration. It also offers additional comfort and cushioning protection. The dressing is designed to not stick to the wound and help minimize the user’s discomfort upon removal.
